0.1 The Meet & Greet

Design + Build Process

Our approach to the Design + Build Process begins with a preliminary telephone call to discuss briefly the needs of your project.

Next, we meet in-person to discuss your dream and vision, budget, expectations and timeframe.

Within a week of our official meet and greet, I send over our Phase 1 Proposal, which contains a retainer for services of the Design + Build Estimate Phase.

 

0.2 The Design

Development of an Idea

In Phase 2, we focus on the Design Process which includes up to four (4) meetings, plus an independent site visit for my team. We analyze the current or future space of your project, and produce and present plans for your finished home or room renovation.

 
 
 
 

0.3 The Estimate

A Clear & Accurate Forecast

In Phase 3 we produce an estimate for how much your project will cost and how long it will take. After the final design is presented in Phase 2, I provide a Construction Contract, including a monetary draw schedule and labor schedule. From here, we establish the Project Start Date.


0.4 The Build

Construction of the Project

Once the Project Start Date is completed in Phase 3, we get to work! Depending on your project, we request all items and belongings be moved from the space before we begin.

All aspects of the construction are monitored to assure quality control and that both budget and timeline goals are met.


0.5 The Closeout

A Final Step to Completion

In this final phase, we address any punch list items, including warranty, operation, and maintenance documents. We finalize any outstanding details, and remove all construction materials from your site. You’re now ready to move into your new home or renovated space!
